Flying Car Traffic Takeoff AI Video: Lift Your Car Out of a Traffic Jam

Make an AI video of your own car rising straight out of gridlock and flying over the jam between office towers, like the viral flying Roadster clips. One photo, 10 or 15 seconds, with sound.

Everyone has wished for it in a traffic jam: press a button and float over the whole thing. In this scene your car does exactly that. Next to the ramp flip it is one of the best-known flying Roadster memes, and it works with any ordinary car.

Sample video coming soon. We are rendering our own example of this scene. Until it is up, the free opening-shot preview shows your car stuck in the jam before you pay anything.

What happens in the video

One continuous shot from street level, a few meters behind your car:

  1. Your car sits in the middle lane of a gridlocked avenue on a bright afternoon, brake lights glowing all around.
  2. Pale cold-gas jets form under its four corners with a sharp hiss, and white vapor spreads across the lane.
  3. It lifts straight up, staying perfectly level, above the roofs of the stopped cars while the camera tilts up to follow.
  4. It glides forward high over the jam between the office towers as the camera watches it go.

You hear city traffic, a faint horn and the rising hiss of the thrusters.

How to make it

  1. Upload one photo of your car. Sign in, then upload a clear photo of the whole car.
  2. Pick Traffic Takeoff. The button above picks it for you. Choose vertical 9:16 or wide 16:9.
  3. Preview the opening shot for free. In about 20 to 40 seconds you see your car stuck in the traffic jam, seen from behind.
  4. Make it fly. Choose 10 or 15 seconds and spend one video credit. The video is usually ready within a few minutes.

Tips

  • A rear three-quarter photo matches the camera angle of this scene best, but a side-front photo works too.
  • Keep the whole car in frame and the wheels visible.
  • Want the climb to feel slower and more dramatic? Pick 15 seconds: the same moves are stretched over more time.

Price

$6.99 for one video, $16.99 for three or $24.99 for five. Credits last one year, there is no subscription, and a failed video returns its credit automatically.

Frequently asked questions

What is the traffic takeoff video?
A short AI clip where your car is stuck in a city traffic jam, fires cold-gas jets from under its corners, rises level above the other cars and flies off between the buildings. It is a popular flying Roadster meme.
Do the other cars fly too?
No. The scene keeps every other car on the ground, so only your car lifts off. Nobody crashes and no people are in focus.
Vertical or wide?
Both work. Vertical 9:16 fits TikTok, Reels and Shorts and leaves room above the car for the climb. Wide 16:9 shows more of the street.
Is the traffic takeoff clip real?
No. Clips of everyday cars lifting out of city traffic jams are AI-generated, including the ones made here. Tesla's own October 15, 2026 launch demos took place at a test site, not in city traffic.
